Rep King,
I am so shocked that you, a political offical has the NEVER to convict a man (in your comments) who was found NOT guilty! Yet you gave Micheal Jackson 2.10 seconds of your time to say something that was HORRIBLE!!!
I feel it was uncalled for. Most of us have grown up listening to his music. So what we’re taking a time out from Political news and paying attention to YOU to focus on something that gave us peace for moments. Meaning Mike and his music brough smiles to sad faces through out the years. Mike gave so much of himself that for you to convict him is a disgrace!! And you shoulf feel ashamed to say that. You are a public servant. What you feel in your mind and heart is your opinion. But to make a video about it was not called for. I see you are not a far person at all!!!!!! I don’t care what you say or do in your policial life, I wouldn’t trust you. Because if a man is found not guilty and all evidence shows he was SET UP…you have still convicted him. That’s not fair!!! Is that the AMERICAN way of thinking?!!!!!!

I am a 70 year old woman and I am appalled at you disgusting remarks. I do not care what your feeling for him. Everyone is entitled to feel how they feel. But to be vocal. Not your place. I was a democrat for 33 years, worked on campaign for Bobby. I left the party when they left my values as a platform. But if I was in your state you would never never never get my vote, You do not even believe in the law you get your imployment from. He was found innocent and if you are a lawyer believing in the justice that found him innocent, you are a phony. I don’t know, the bible says we look on the outside God looks on the heart. Why don’t you let him do it.

Mr. King, weren’t these ALL Just ALLEGATIONS? You must have a complex or maybe if you had the kind of heart or persona of Mr. Jackson you would be inclined to be a pedophile, a pervert or just all the negative things you have said about Michael. I realize that you are a bit jealous or just like some others you are looking for attention, but PLEASE, HOP OFF OF MICHAEL JACKSON, and BEAT IT, DIRTY DIANA, you’re not a PRETTY YOUNG THING, you are not HEALing THE WORLD and we don’t care if THEY DON’T REALLY CARE ABOUT US and Michael is not a SMOOTH CRIMINAL. Rest in Pease MICHAEL

I’m glad someone has the guts to stand up against this insane media hysteria about exactly this: celebrating a hyper narcissistic pedophile. Celebrity-mad american culture has made us blind enough to ignore it.

I for one congratulate you for speaking up in behalf of the many who want this great nation to go on living under the principle.
For those who criticize, let’s not forget Michael never went to trial for he decided to pay 20 million to a molested child and he also admitted in an interview he slept with children, if not look for the interview in you tube for Bashir, what other evidence do you need to see he was a complete psycho? http://groups.yahoo.com/groups/daniairs

Pete King you are an idiot. So are you Dion Sorrell and so are you JJ. You guys obviously turn a blind eye to all the good the Michael has done in the world. It is amazing how you choose to zoom in on the little negative and forget the many positives. It also shows a deep disrespect for the deceased and the family to make comments like that. But it brings me a little comfort that when you guys die you will not get .01% of the love and honor that Michael has gotten…Pete King is disgusting

I don’t know whether the musically talented Michael Jackson was an active pedophile or someone who was merely very inappropriate in his interactions with other people’s male children. But I do wonder this about Pete King, who has chosen to wrap himself in the flag of the US military:
When the Republican administration, under Bush, was sneaking in the bodies of war casualties under the cloak of darkness and without allowing any kind of media presence, did Peter King stand up and protest that the sacrifice made by young men and women was being shamefully hidden and ignored so that his political party suffered less fallout?
If he did, then I won’t call him a hypocrite for using the example of military deaths to protest against the coverage of Michael Jackson’s death.

I’m so glad there is someone who is not afraid to stand up to the media. Sure Michael Jackson was talented, he made great contributions to music. whether he was guilty or not he is being judged for now by the only True Judge. but come on, enough is enough. I don’t believe anyone that has ever died has gotten this much coverage. Even Pres Kennedy. I think it is time to give it a rest and lets hear about our brave men who are fighting so that we have the right to voice our opinions. It’s great to be and American.

Great job! Michael WAS FOUND GUILTY. Guilty in civil court for 20 million dollars as a settlement. Criminal court is beyond reasonable doubt….civil court is 51% liable….SO MJ is 51% liable for improper touching of a child. THAT MAKES HIM A BAD PERSON IN SOME PEOPLES MINDS. You can write a thousand songs and settle out of court for molesting 1 child and people don’t remember you as a child molester, but only a great song writer. If it were your child you would be appauled. SICKOS

It’s amusing how ignorant some people can be. It often shows who believes in God and who reads the Bible, which says Let He without sin cast the first stone. I see a lot of sinless people have made some very judgmental statements. If Michael was so guilty then the family of the accused shouldn’t have been so quick to just take the money, wouldn’t a real mother be concerned about this happening to other children and been more worried about protecting others instead of just the money. And let’ not forget the child wouldn’t testify and it wasn’t because he was scared. Famous people pay to keep from going to court all the time just to make it go away and that doesn’t make them guilty, or is this just a race thing. The constitution says INNOCENT until PROVEN GUILTY and nothing was proved. Some of you really need to go back and do some research, how many pedophiles have only touched one child. If he was a pedophile trust me there would have been many other children or parents come out and they haven’t. In the words of one of Michael Jackson’s songs…….some of you need to Start with the Man in the Mirror and like I said, you must be sinless. I pray God’s Blessing on you and pray that ignorance won’t continue to be your best friend.

How can King discredit the media for covering the death of MJ by regurgitating former media propaganda?

Wow, people are idiots. What the hell did Michael Jackson do to benefit anybody? He had enough money to put up a good front in the name of Michael to fool most people. That’s why he had Neverland as a front to lure young boys to him and got away with it. If he was innocent, he wouldn’t have paid off the family 20 million dollars. Come on now! You dumb asses have to realize this man was a child molester. 20 million dollars does not pay for a child’s innocence. Michael Jackson was a great entertainer, but he got away with crimes that any other low-life that’s not famous would have spent time in prison for. Big name apparently means, not guilty: ever heard of O.J. Simpson? For the love of God people, think for yourselves and give respect for the people who actually deserve it! Further, stop glorifying the ones who make a profit off of you! The man was sick! The world is better off without who he became. Live and learn people!!! Nobody’s even mentioned MJ in the last 10 years. Now he’s being glorified for what reason?! Should we all glorify and watch all kinds of silly media about every child molester who dies? Probably not. Get a grip, not on your crotch, but on reality. Really, when did grabbing your crotch become a killer dance move? People need to realize that just because someone is famous doesn’t mean they are a good person or a good role model. Further, drug-induced entertainer doesn’t equal a good babysitter. come on people, think for yourfuckingselves!!! I mean really, he’s not John Lennon or Jerry Garcia or Hendrix, Dylan, Marley, Jeff Beck, Freddie Mercury, Todd Rundgren, Aretha Franklin, Joplin, : he sang, he danced, but he also molested kids. What’s more important here? Truth or consequences?
For the love of God, please stop putting MJ before the children!!!
